Overview

Hayward Flow Control, a division of Hayward Industries, is a leading U.S. manufacturer of industrial thermoplastic valves, actuation and controls, instrumentation, filters, strainers, corrosion resistant pumps, bulkhead fittings and tank accessories.  Hayward Flow Control products are used in water and wastewater treatment, chemical processing & transfer, chemical feed, aquatic/animal life support systems, mining, and many other industrial processing systems worldwide.   Hayward's thermoplastic and actuation products accommodate aggressive and corrosive environments, delicate ecosystems, or the strictest chemical balances to keep water and life working together.

 

As part of our growth strategy, we are looking for a dynamic individual to join our team as Inside Sales Support for our Flow Control product line, in our Clemmons, North Carolina location. This position is in office, five days per week.

 

This position is responsible for providing administrative support to our customers on all Hayward Flow Control products.

 

Responsibilities

  • Review orders for accuracy prior to placement.
  • Promptly and effectively process orders, samples, return goods and credit requests. 
  • Resolve customer order inquiries regarding pricing, delivery status, etc.
  • Provide pricing information as required. Calculations required. 
  • Coordinate customer requirements by working closely with the operations, shipping, and sales staff
  • Assistance with quotations
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Strong commitment to customer service, to internal and external customers.
  • Excellent problem solving and conflict management skills.
  • Proven ability to work in a fast-paced environment, while also managing priorities.

 Experience

  • 3+ years' work experience in a Business to Business (B2B) customer-facing service team.  
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office products
  • Experience with Salesforce system is a plus.
  • Experience negotiating resolutions, finding solutions, and balancing company and customer expectations.
  • Bi-lingual skills (fluent in Spanish) is a plus.

Education:

  • Associate degree in related discipline OR comparable CSR experience in place of degree.
