Overview

Headquartered in Charlotte, North Carolina, Hayward also has facilities in Tennessee, Arizona, and Rhode Island as well as Canada, Spain, France, Australia, and China.  This role is based in Atlanta, GA.

 

The Inventory Supervisor will be responsible for planning, organizing, and monitoring daily inventory operations including receiving, storage, picking, and shipping to ensure accuracy and efficiency. Oversees inventory systems, space utilization, and packaging processes while driving continuous improvement in alignment with operational goals. 

Responsibilities

· Evaluates and recommends changes in allocation/utilization of space, storage locations and packaging procedures to distribution manager(s).

· Evaluates, investigates inventory systems abilities, options, and issues to make recommendations for improvement for accuracy and operational efficiency.

· Responsible for inventory accuracy and organization at all times as well as timely cycle counts and reconciliation – corporate counts, aisle/row counts, and reporting

· Responsible for WMS setup configurations to support accuracy and operational efficiency.

· Evaluates all processes to support inventory accuracy and SQDC goals.

· Responsible for establishing clear performance requirements for staff/department and measuring performance of personnel as well as supporting their development/training.

· Work and partner with distribution managers and manufacturing to establish pallet configuration and packaging for storage and shipping handling/efficiency.

· Reviews and maintain staffing levels to meet daily workload.

· Support and administration of company policies and procedures.

 

Supervisory Responsibilities:

· Carries out management responsibilities in accordance with the organization’s policies and applicable laws.

· Make recommendations on programs to improve overall distribution operations.

· Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems for employees on all work schedules.

· Must be available to supervise overtime due to demand of business.

Qualifications

· Three to five years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

· Detail oriented and ability to build positive relationships with internal and external customers.

· Self-driven, results oriented and motivated to work effectively without direct supervision.

· Demonstrated organization skills, good time management skills, strong analytical and data driven problem solving skills.

· Experience in collaborating across multiple departments.

· Familiar with and proficient with MS Office and/or Google Suite.

· Capable of understanding operational requirements to provide effective support.

· Ability to lift up to fifty pounds.
