About the Position:

As part of Hayward’s ongoing digital transformation and HR technology strategy, the Senior Workday Lead will play a critical role in enhancing Workday capabilities. Reporting to the Senior Director of HRIS, this position is responsible for executing implementation plans, maintaining system integrity, and driving the continued rollout and adoption of Workday modules.

This role will partner with internal teams and external vendors to ensure successful configuration, testing, and deployment of new Workday functionality. As a subject matter expert, the Senior Workday Lead will support HR staff and business stakeholders across multiple geographies, helping to optimize use of technology and streamline processes.

This position offers a unique opportunity to contribute to a global Workday expansion, shape data governance, and ensure the effectiveness and scalability of Workday technology at Hayward. This position will be located in Charlotte, NC.

Responsibilities

  • Execute Workday maintenance and new functionality through configuration, testing, deployment, and ongoing support.
  • Drive full utilization of Workday by managing access, user settings, and system personalization across HR functions.
  • Ensure data integrity and security compliance while managing and supporting effective Workday integrations to enable seamless system functionality and reliable data flow.
  • Provide hands-on training and ongoing support to HR team members and business users to enhance adoption of Workday tools and best practices.
  • Identify and implement opportunities for automation and efficiency gains, reducing manual processes.
  • Act as a liaison with stakeholders to ensure system configurations support business objectives and user experience.
  • Conduct SOX audit reporting and collaborate with auditors to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, while maintaining adherence to established change control process.

Qualifications

  • 7+ years of global Workday deployment and configuration experience, including: HCM, Recruiting, Talent & Performance, Advanced Compensation, Integrations & Security.
  • Active Workday Certifications in HCM, Recruiting, Talent & Performance, and Advanced Compensation. 
  • Experience with SOX audits and HR technology governance.
  • Proficiency in Workday integrations, EIBs, calculated fields, and report writing.
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills across technical and non-technical teams.
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and handle multiple priorities.
  • Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
  • Flexible and adaptable approach with willingness to be hands-on and solutions oriented.
