Sr. Advanced Electrical Engineer

We’re seeking an Advanced Senior Electrical Engineer to join our team and play a pivotal role in designing and developing cutting-edge electronic and electromechanical products. 

In this role, you’ll own projects from concept to manufacturing release, collaborating with cross-functional teams to create innovative, industry-leading pool controls, electronics, and assemblies. Your expertise will drive advancements in power and control for products like robotic cleaners, smart heaters, variable-speed pumps, and automation systems.

1. Investigative Problem-Solving

• Troubleshoot and resolve issues in new and existing electrical products and systems.
• Develop requirements and evaluate technical solutions for new platforms and tools.

2. Design Ownership

• Drive innovative consumer product development from concept to launch.
• Lead design reviews, optimize PCB layouts, and specify components for robust designs.

3. Test, Validate, and Launch

• Create and execute test plans to validate designs, ensuring industry compliance (HALT, EMC/EMI, UL, CE).
• Partner with manufacturing teams for smooth production launches.

4. Stakeholder Collaboration

• Work with firmware, mechanical, and system architects to create cohesive product architectures.
• Maintain detailed technical documentation and communicate design strategies effectively.

5. Continuous Learning

• Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies through conferences, research, and side projects.

What You Bring:

• Experience: 6–8+ years in electrical design and product development.
• Skills:
  • Proficiency with schematic capture tools (Altium, KiCad, or Eagle) and PCB layout.
  • Knowledge of 3-phase BLDC motor drives, embedded systems, microcontrollers, and analog/digital circuitry.
  • Familiarity with safety standards, EMC, and environmental compliance.
  • Understanding of mechanical/thermal/packaging design for industrial electronics.
• Attributes: Self-driven with a strong commitment to meeting project deadlines.
• Education:  Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering (BSEE) with 8+ years of relevant experience.  Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering (MSEE) preferred.
