Territory is Southwest, Florida (Naples – Ft. Myers market). 

 

The District Technical Service Manager (DTM) provides field-based technical support for Hayward pool products and dealers. Collaborating with District Sales Managers (DSMs), the DTM develops and implements tailored local strategies, manages a network of service providers, and delivers exceptional customer and product support to drive market success.

Responsibilities

  • Local Strategy Development: Partner with DSMs to create and execute market-specific plans to enhance sales, customer satisfaction, and service offerings. Strategies may target specific products, customer segments, or network improvements.
  • Service Network Management: Recruit, train, and maintain a network of service providers to ensure expert repairs and coverage for Hayward products.
  • Customer Engagement: Strengthen dealer relationships through proactive site visits, technical training, and problem resolution. Address escalated issues to maintain customer trust.
  • Training & Feedback: Conduct targeted training sessions and provide feedback to enhance product reliability, performance, and innovation.
  • Performance Review: Regularly assess market strategies with DSMs, identify gaps, and adjust plans to achieve goals.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma required; 4-year degree or pool industry experience preferred.
  • 3+ years of technical experience in the pool industry, ideally in a field-management role.
  • Expertise in swimming pool products, repairs, and applications. Proficiency in business tools and reporting systems.
  • Strong skills in problem-solving, collaboration, and project management.
