As a Master Planner, you’ll play a critical role in driving efficiency and collaboration across our Clemmons facility. You’ll develop and manage the Master Production Plan, ensuring alignment with ERP systems and coordinating with various teams to meet customer demand and production goals. Responsibilities

  • Lead a team of planners and buyers, focusing on mentorship, development, and creating a diverse, high-performing team.
  • Owns inventory and safety stock fulfillment balances and ensures levels are in place per ERP requirements
  • Own key performance indicators related to Master Scheduling and properly disseminates
  • Develop, communicate, and maintain a production schedule that aligns with ERP and ensures efficient resource utilization.
  • Collaborate across departments to resolve scheduling discrepancies and maintain data integrity.
  • Promote clear communication on lead times, scheduling logic, and performance metrics across all levels.
  • Partner with supply chain teams to proactively address material needs and ensure smooth operations.
  • Champion continuous improvement in master planning, utilizing lean strategies like kanban, JIT, and VMI.
  • Participate in daily lean activities, fostering a culture of inclusion and innovation.

Qualifications

  • Experience in ERP and Advanced Planning Systems with a focus on continuous improvement.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills that support collaboration in diverse teams.
  • Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and supply chain management.
  • Proficiency in data management tools (e.g., PowerBI, ODBC Reporting) is a plus.
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree preferred, with 3-5 years’ experience in production planning or a related role.
