Overview

The successful candidate will use the required skills to complete targeted and non-targeted cycle counts to help ensure inventory accuracy of wip/raw parts.

Responsibilities

  • Perform cycle count duties and responsibilities to help ensure inventory accuracy within Pool Receiving.
  • Print cycle count report daily and perform targeted cycle counts per report.
  • Adjust inventory in AS400 as necessary to validate cycle count was performed.
  • Maintain Top 60% Cycle Count Report with the goal of counting all items on report - 1 time per quarter.
  • Perform 25 cycle counts per day.
  • Adjust inventory in AS400 as necessary to validate cycle count.
  • Reconcile Monthly Consignment Motor Report while working with accounting.
  • Clear back flush over issues daily using back flush over issue report.
  • Contribute continuous improvement ideas related to any Receiving procedure or process.
  • Work with outside auditor during quarterly audits.
  • Operate RF scanner.
  • Operate sit-down forklift, stand-up forklift and tugger safely.
  • Frequent use of radio.
  • Assist department in filling in for absenteeism as necessary.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Qualifications

Qualifications

  • Possess strong product knowledge.
  • Should have strong knowledge of the AS400 and Inventory Transactions.
  • Should understand general workings of a PC and be able to utilize Word and Excel programs.
  • Ability to use department tolls and machinery safely and understand their use and function.
  • Effectively communicate to all levels of the organization. Must exhibit good written as well as verbal skills.
  • Ability to visualize, articulate and solve both complex and uncomplicated problems and concepts, and make decisions that make sense. Should be able to solve general math problems.
  • Adherence to moral and ethical principles; sound moral character; honesty.
  • Must have the ability to understand, accept and embrace change is necessary for the development of the department.
  • Must be able to perform all jobs, including physical in the Receiving Department.
  • Excellent attendance is a requirement for this position.
  • Current forklift certification or ability to be certified within 15 days.

 

Education

High School diploma or general education degree (GED)

 

Physical Requirements

Must be able to sit for extended periods of time. Regularly required to stand, walk, talk and hear. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.

 

Work Environment

The employee will frequently work in the manufacturing area near moving mechanical parts and will be exposed to fumes, dust, water and airborne particles. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate to noisy in the production areas. Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is required at all times while production is running.
