Supply Planning Manager

Headquartered in Charlotte, North Carolina, Hayward also has facilities in Tennessee, Arizona, and Rhode Island as well as Canada, Spain, France, Australia, and China.  This position is based in Clemmons, NC. 

The Supply Planning Manager plays a key role in ensuring accurate supply forecasting and inventory optimization to support the organization's supply chain operations. Working closely with the Demand Planning Manager and Supply Chain teams to leads cross-functional teams to align demand plans with production initiatives. The ideal candidate will have experience in supply planning, data analysis, and supply chain management, as well as strong leadership and communication skills.

• Establish and lead effective supply planning portion of the SIOP process.
• Develop and implement supply planning processes to achieve accurate forecasting and optimize inventory levels and production efficiencies.
• Responsible for working with the operations team to ensure capacity can support business objectives and make recommendations for altered production as necessary.
• Responsible for working with the commodities and procurement teams to ensure supply plans support business objectives.
• Collaborate with the Demand Planning Manager, and production teams to align supply plans with business objectives and ensure adequate supply.
• Analyze historical data and supplier insights to forecast future supply accurately.
• Monitor and analyze supply forecast accuracy, identify trends, and recommend improvements.
• Work closely with supply chain teams to optimize inventory levels, minimize stockouts, and reduce excess inventory.
• Utilize supply planning software and other tools to support forecasting and reporting activities.
• Prepare reports and presentations to communicate supply planning insights and recommendations to stakeholders and leadership.
• Create and automate analytical tools to identify high level trends and / or anomalies in product performance based on bookings and operational performance.
• Responsible for operational KPI reporting including safety stock performance, inventory and sales order alignment, execution on actionable sales orders.
• Manage manufacturing and sales lead times.
• Liaison for international manufacturing facilities.
• Special projects and other duties as assigned.

• 5+ years of experience in demand planning, supply chain, or related roles
• Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a high-performing team.
• Proficient in supply planning methodologies, statistical analysis, and forecasting techniques
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail
• Advanced proficiency in Excel and PowerBI,
• Experience with supply planning software or ERP systems (e.g., DSX, Dynamics) is preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities

Preferred Experience/Qualifications:

• Business Analyst, Supply Chain Planning, or Production and inventory control experience

Education:

• Bachelor's degree in business, supply chain management, or a related field
