Hayward Holdings Inc. Hayward designs, manufactures, and markets a full line of residential and commercial pool and spa equipment including pumps, filters, heating, cleaners, salt chlorinators, automation, lighting, safety, flow control, and energy solutions at our company-owned facilities. Headquartered in Charlotte, North Carolina, Hayward also has facilities in Tennessee, Arizona, and Rhode Island as well as Canada, Spain, France, Australia, and China.  This role is based in Clemmons, NC.

 

Reporting directly to the Vice President of Human Resources, the HRBP is a trusted partner and consultant to the Product Technology Engineering and Product Management teams.  This position will also be the key support for HR Project Management and Mergers and Acquisitions. You will collaborate with leaders to drive cultural initiatives, organizational effectiveness, and talent engagement to enable a high-performing workforce.  For employees at all levels, you are the champion and change agent, proactively developing and/or implementing Human Resources integrated solutions to complex business and organizational needs. 

 

As the HRBP you will coach leaders and provide guidance and expertise to develop and/or execute strategic plans in the areas of workforce planning, organizational design, restructuring, change management, leadership effectiveness, and talent management.  You will partner with and have the support of the HR Centers of Excellence (COEs) to develop continuous improvement plans and drive people programs and processes.  You will provide partnership and support with the continuous improvement of processes to execute the Total Rewards, Talent Management, Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion strategies.

Responsibilities

  • Understand key business priorities of client groups to support business leaders in effectively leading their organizations.
  • Build trust, coach, and work with employees at all levels to drive a high-performing and highly engaged culture.
  • Partner with leaders to develop and execute in the areas of organizational design, workforce planning, role design, change management, talent review, and succession planning for your group. 
  • Analyze data trends and drive solutions, programs, and policies to improve organizational objectives such as performance, team effectiveness, retention, and engagement.
  • Collaborate with the HR network and with other stakeholders across the organization to resolve escalated issues and generate solutions to enable the client’s business strategy.
  • Lead day-to-day HR activities for cross-functional client groups, such as interpreting corporate policies, procedures, employee relations, performance management, incident management, etc.
  • Support leaders with successfully managing all cyclical people processes (performance management, talent management, succession planning, compensation planning, etc.).
  • Manages and resolves complex employee relations issues. Conducts effective, thorough, and objective investigations.  Partner with the legal department as needed/required.
  • Partner with the Centers of Excellence (COEs) to enable strategies to support the client’s needs. 
  • Act as Project Manager for various HR projects by providing project plans, monitoring progress and completion by scheduled deadlines.

Qualifications

  • Undergraduate degree in a related discipline, or relevant/prior career experience and
  • 3+ years of prior experience as an HR Business Partner; preferably in a fast-paced publicly traded company. 
  • Proven ability to influence and drive change with leaders across agile organizations, aligning the people strategy with business goals and growth.
  • Proven success in delivering high-impact people operations programs around performance management, culture, team member engagement, and retention.
  • Understanding and knowledge of all aspects of human resources, including (but not limited to): Total Rewards, Talent Development, Talent Acquisition, Organization Design and Development, Coaching, etc.
  • Knowledge of US employment laws/regulations.  International knowledge is a plus.
  • HR certification is a plus.
