Headquartered in Charlotte, North Carolina, Hayward also has facilities in Tennessee, Arizona, and Rhode Island as well as Canada, Spain, France, Australia, and China.  This position is based ­in Clemmons, NC.

 

The primary focus of the HRIS Analyst is the support and maintenance of the Workday system and its integrations.  The HRIS Analyst serves as a technical point-of-contact and partners with HR’s subject matter experts to ensure efficient maintenance and operation of the system, optimum functionality, data integrity, and best practice system security administration.   This position will partner cross-functionally with all areas of the business to provide regular and ad-hoc reports, assist with budgeting and forecasting, and analyze data flows for process improvement opportunities

Responsibilities

  • Establish liaison relationships with HRBPs to provide HR technical solutions. Analyze business workflows to address business needs. Manage clients’ priorities of projects/requests. Assess client needs utilizing a structured requirements process (gathering, analyzing, documenting, and managing changes) to prioritize immediate business needs and recommend options, risks/cost versus benefits.
  • Provide reporting/analytical support cross-functionally and consultation to Senior HR Leadership and HR customers.
  • Regularly conducts data audits of HRMS and raises potential issues with HR or other functions to correct and maintain the integrity of the HRMS and downstream systems.
  • Support incentive plan processes including requirements gathering, system configuration, data preparation, process management, and communication.
  • Unquestionable integrity in handling sensitive and confidential information required.
  • Understand and maintain a working knowledge of, and ensures activities are performed in compliance with applicable domestic and international laws and regulations.
  • Provides an exceptional level of quality service for internal and external customers.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills, demonstrating analytical reasoning, organization, data review, and time management skills, with the ability to accurately manage multiple assignments, goals, and reporting requests, ensuring priorities are set and commitments and deadlines are met, with minimal direction and supervision.
  • Assists in the ongoing maintenance of Workday, upgrades, and new implementations to ensure HRMS meets the needs of the organization.
  • Document and update processes and partner with functions to increase efficiency and reduce duplication of work.
  • Supports multiple complex integrations and file transfers in both internal and external systems such as Active Directory, Snowflake, iCims, Benefits Providers, Time/Attendance Vendors, etc

Qualifications

  • 2-5 years Workday experience supporting Workday HCM and additional modules such as Recruiting, Payroll, Absence, Time & Attendance, Advanced Compensation, Performance, Integrations
  • High attention to detail – will need to reconcile multiple data sets in different currencies.
  • Proficient knowledge of MS Excel, data analysis, and more complicated formulas
  • Ability to work autonomously and take ownership of processes from start to finish.
  • Strong analytical skills: able to analyze complex problems and devise viable solutions.
  • Ability to take innovative approaches to improve processes and solve problems.
  • Ability to interact with all levels and areas of the organization.
  • Ability to manage conflicting priorities, handle multiple tasks/projects concurrently, and adapt appropriately
  • Ability to effectively organize, plan, control, and prioritize work/projects. Ability to regularly communicate progress to appropriate stakeholders.
  • Displays and promotes high standards of ethical conduct and behaviors consistent with organizational standards.

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, Human Resources, or a related field.
  • 2+ years related work experience in Human Resources.
  • Experience with SQL preferred.  
  • 2+ years of progressive technology, business analyst, or project management-related experience or equivalent levels of professional experience and training
  • Working knowledge of global data privacy/security regulations
  • Workday Pro Certification a plus
