    Performs detailed visual and dimensional inspection of in-house molded parts, subassemblies, and assemblies for conformance to BOM’s, Manufacturing OP’s, QA instructions, approved samples and engineering blueprints by performing the following duties.  Position is for our 2nd Shift, Monday - Friday from 2:00pm - 10:30pm.  Hourly rate of $16.00 - $18.00/hour plus a $1.00/hr. shift differential.  Weekly paycheck and benefits begin on hire date.

    Responsibilities

    • Must be able to understand and use measuring equipment such as calipers, micrometers, gauging, etc.
    • Performs detailed visual and dimensional inspection of supplier material/components and production parts.
    • Ability to read and interpret dimensional drawings.
    • Will be required to read and understand written instructions.
    • Recording and summarizing quality defects will be required.
    • Will be responsible for writing brief production reports to management.
    • Will be required to do basic math.
    • Reasoning and analyzing ability to pinpoint defects is required

    Qualifications

    High school diploma or general education degree (GED)

    Min. 2 - 5 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

    Quality experience in manufacturing, (appliance, sheet metal and light assembly preferred)
