    We are seeking a Human Resource Manager for our flagship facility in Clemmons, NC.   The HR manager will be the first point of contact for production employees, supervisors and managers across all three shifts to provide counsel, coaching, and support on HR fundamentals and employee related concerns.

    Responsibilities

    • Provides HR policy guidance and interpretation

    • Provide advice and counsel to managers and employees to ensure consistent application and integration of policies, procedures and practices at 100% compliance to promote an ethical and compliant work environment.

    • Understands Federal laws and can provide guidance to managers and employees on various leave policies (STD, FMLA, Military Leave)

    • Works closely with management and employees to improve work relationships, build morale, and increase productivity and retention

    • Manages and resolves various employee relations issues and/or grievances. Conducts effective, thorough, objective investigations.

    • Ensure that all employee relations issues are properly identified, reported, investigated and resolved.

    • Maintains in-depth knowledge of legal requirements related to day-to-day management of employees, reducing legal risks and ensuring regulatory compliance. Partners with the legal department as needed.

    • Provide production employees and managers with an available first point of contact for questions and guidance on fundamental HR topics and issues; escalates concerns beyond their scope to Clemmons Director of HR; navigates employees and managers to HR services when it is more the appropriate resources.

    • Partner with Clemmons Director of HR to execute business-specific HR strategies..

    • Execute key HR processes,including compensation planning and compliance.

    • Conduct HR training and support for functional processes ( Harassment, leadership, etc.)

    • Assist with other HR special projects or initiatives as needed.

    • Report all injuries to Worker’s Compensation Insurance Carrier.

    • Follow up on the progress of all open Worker’s Comp cases, and promote Early Return to Work policy for applicable candidates

    • Investigate accidents with injured employees, managers, and departments leaders.

    • Coordinate available outside assets and resources to grow and expand safety programs

    • Coordinate DOT training and reviews as needed

    • Initiate and required monthly, quarterly and annual OSHA, MSHA, and DOT forms and paperwork as directed

    • Maintain required log-books, safety records, open paperwork, and completed documentation as required.

    • Identify hazards and make recommendations for system and safety improvements

    • Partners with production managers and supports recruiting efforts for the hourly un-skilled operator level and staff accordingly to meet production demands.

    • Lead other site-wide HR projects as necessary, working across multiple groups and shifts.

    • Lead other HR projects across mulitple facilies, as directed.  

    • Maintain and protect confidential data with the utmost scrutiny, judgment, and care.

    Qualifications


    • BS/BA degree; preferably in Business Administration, HR Management.

    • Minimum of 7 years progressive experience in HR, with at least 5 years in a generalist role covering the following areas: change management, organizational effectiveness/development, policy development and administration, recruitment/selection, compensation, employment law, positive employee relations, Safety Compliance, HRIS and/or employee and management training/development.

    • Experience supporting a diverse client group including manufacturing and non-manufacturing clients ranging from hourly operating associates to professional business functions.

    • Bilingual (English/Spanish) strongly desired

    • SPHR or PHR certification desired.

    • Possesses key process skills such as consulting, problem-solving, evaluation/diagnosis, workshop and meeting design and facilitation.

    • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel) as a tool to present a program and gain buy-in, influence a decision, and drive key analysis.
