    Supports customers and sales representative organizations by promptly handling all technical requests submitted for products on an ongoing basis to satisfy customer needs


    Major Tasks and Responsibilities:

    • Serve as the primary source of technical information for customers regarding applications, installation, operation, and problem resolution
    • Provide product selection recommendations based on specification and application requirements
    • Generate quotations in support of sales functions
    • Perform laboratory tests as required to resolve customer problems or questions regarding specific applications
    • Serve as single point of contact for customers and outside sales regarding information associated with warranty claims
    • Provide written technical solutions for product applications
    • Provide support services to the sales team
    • Other responsibilities as assigned


    • Ability to read project specifications and provide product selection recommendations
    • Understanding of Actuators and Valves
    • Understanding of PLC systems and configuration
    • Understanding of Control Systems including BUS systems
    • Ability to read and understand electrical schematic data
    • Ability to read and understand electrical specification data
    • Technical product phone support and trouble shooting
    • Professional written and oral communication
    • Proficiency in all MS Office programs
    • Internet search option use and optimization
    • General office equipment
    • Professional phone etiquette
    • Sales presentation
    • Positive attitude
    • Commitment to providing solution bases service
    • Ability to follow written instructions and work independently
    • Some travel required
    • Spanish speaking preferred 


    Education and Experience:

    AA/AS (BA/BS preferred) degree in electronics or engineering discipline; verifiable experience in directly related field, or Technical School training may be substituted for degree requirements.
