  • Overview

    Operates blow molding machines to create finished good sand filters. Inspects parts and boxes them up for transport to distribution center.



    • Operate machine at proper production rate.
    • Remove pinch-off leaving no flash on part.
    • Place on cooling conveyor in a manner that tank does not get dented or marred.
    • Perform secondary operations in a manner that produces parts of acceptable quality.
    • Make minor adjustments to molding machine and secondary machines as outlined by management.
    • Measure parts with assigned gauges to assure quality.
    • Monitor material handling system to assure machine does not run out of material and resin are blended properly. Make minor adjustments as outlined by management.
    • Monitor regrind system to assure that no foreign objects are introduced into grinder and system is not overlooked.
    • Perform leak test and assemble completed sand filters in a work cell environment.
    • Follow all general and specific safety procedures as instructed by supervisor.
    • Any other production assignments necessary to produce quality product at proper productivity rates.



    • Must have excellent attendance.


    • Education and Experience: While performing the duties of this job, the employee will frequently lift and/or move up to 100 pounds and use a trimming knife safely.


    • Physical Requirements:
    • High school diploma or general education degree (GED). One + years of experience in a manufacturing environment preferred with a concentration of: Mold set up, blow or injection molding processing, assembly, finish packaging and quality verification.
