Operates forklift truck in order to receive, store, stage, and distribute material and products within the Clemmons plant.




  • Reads production schedule, customer order, work order, shipping order, or requisition to determine items to be moved, gathered, or distributed.
  • Conveys materials and items in a safe and responsible manner from receiving or production areas to storage or other designated areas; utilizes forklift, hand truck, scissor lift, etc. and also moves items manually.
  • Performs daily preventive maintenance on assigned forklift.
  • Sorts and places materials or items on racks or shelves according to pre-determined sequence as to size, type or product code.
  • Fills requisitions, work orders, and requests for materials or other stock items, and distributes items.
  • Assembles customer orders from stock and places orders on pallets or shelves, or conveys orders to packing station or shipping area.
  • Performs all duties in accordance with company safety standards.



  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED); and one to three years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Ability to operate a forklift truck, stock picker/man lifts, and lifts with attachments, in a safe manner.
  • Must be able to operate a RF device proficiently.
  • A non-fear of heights up to 40 feet.
  • Forklift and stock picker certification is required.
