Overview

Energetic, tech savvy, creative marketing professional is required to implement and coordinate the MarCom strategy at Hayward Industries for the Flow Control division. The ideal candidate has working knowledge of industrial goods within the Flow Control sales channel and experience communicating to this customer base. They must have refined project management skills, advance level software publishing and web content management experience. A successful candidate will bring significant experience working with external suppliers (ad agencies, PR, printers, and media representatives) as well as a solid understanding of marketing fundamentals to solicit and analyze feedback. They must posses an ability to initiate, conceptualize and develop effective Marcom tools to support the gain of market share growth.

Responsibilities

The Marcom Coordinator will partner with Product Management, Marketing and Sales teams to develop, coordinate, and implement MarCom strategies and tools to support the strategic and tactical objectives for Hayward Flow Control

  • Coordinate and implement Marketing Communications plan with Director of Marketing, with quantifiable goals that cover all communication initiatives including collateral & print, web, social media, direct mail, advertising and trade-shows, meeting set schedule dates and time requirements.
  • Manage the process for planned marketing programs including design, proofing, production and cost analyses of marketing collateral, including full-line catalogs, brochures, price sheet development and delivery, data sheets, technical tools, etc.
  • Ability to implement programs on time and on budget.
  • Oversee and execute Trade Show plan, displays, and collateral, meeting due dates for shipments and displays for shows or events. Work with vendors to maintain and keep current displays and graphics.  Insure financial targets are met.
  • Collect internal and external customer feedback in order to implement continuous improvements in all collateral/programs for Marcom.
  • Interface with Product and Sales Management to produce new product launch tools.
  • Manage product launch process and check list to verify compliance and consistency with respect to all aspects of the marketing mix such as collateral, inventory plans, media kits, e-media tools, press release, etc., as well as meet launch dates established.
  • Continually improve functionality, UI and appearance of web site working with Corporate Web team and IT as well as direct product content to assure support of product launches and sales/marketing initiatives.
  • Manage Social and E-Media tools and capabilities to support marketing and sales initiatives, drive increased following and impressions.
  • Coordinate and manage graphic library, displays, and sample inventory for trade shows and customer displays.  This includes creative photography, photo editing and categorizing.
  • Manage Sales Lead process to insure that all leads are captured 

Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in Business required (Marketing Major Preferred). Minimum 4 yrs of experience working in Marketing Communication positions and/or with Ad Agencies, PR firms. Preferred: 4 years experience working within sales and marketing organizations

  • Strong Project Management skill set
  • Proven ability to develop and implement results oriented programs and campaigns.
  • Can demonstrate consistent contributions toward successful MarCom deliverables such as catalogs, new product launches, sales tools, and ad campaigns
  • Advanced proficiency using PC and Mac OS Systems with Quark Xpress, Photoshop, Indesign and Illustrator.
