Plans, directs, and coordinate manufacturing processes in the Molding Departments. Develops, evaluates and improves manufacturing methods and standards, analyzes and plans equipment and labor requirements, and work flow.
Experience with Microsoft Office 2007 required. Experience with 3D solid modeling software (Solidworks) and plastic mold filling simulation software (AutoDesk Mold Flow) preferred. Proficiency with MRP and Process Monitoring software desired. Ability to apply advanced mathematical concepts such as exponents, logarithms, quadratic equations and permutations. Ability to effectively present information to management, engineers, vendors, assembly line supervisors and workers. Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables. Ability to read, analyze, and interpret common scientific and technical journals.
Education and Experience:
Bachelor of Science degree from a four-year college or university, preferably in Plastics/Polymers, Chemical, Mechanical, or Manufacturing Engineering.
