Hayward Pool Products, the leading manufacturer of swimming pool equipment and products has an immediate opening for an individual with at least 3-5 years of technical field management experience, including hands-on field technical service experience. Experience in the pool and related industry is preferred.
Based in Tampa, or the surrounding area, the District Technical Service Manager (DTM) provides local technical support for all Hayward products and customers. This includes developing and implementing local strategies for aftermarket support; building, training, and managing a network of service providers; and serving as the market resource for decision making and problem solving.
Required 3+ years experience in the pool industry, preferable in a field-management role, working directly with product and supporting internal and external customers. Required in-depth knowledge of swimming pool products, their application, use & care, and repair. Required working knowledge of business tools, such as spreadsheets, databases, and system applications. Required strong communication skills (verbal and written), with ability to collaborate and work as part of a team. Required high-school diploma and preferred 4-year degree or equivalent experience in a business-related field.
